In accordance with the unified deployment of the National Immigration Administration, all border inspection agencies across the country have mobilized all their forces and are fully committed to ensuring the smooth passage of passengers at border crossings during the holiday. They have predicted and announced the peak traffic periods for entry and exit at major border crossings in advance, reminding all passengers to plan their trips reasonably and travel at off-peak times. They have scientifically organized their duties, opened all inspection channels, strengthened guidance and instructions, ensuring that the queues for Chinese citizens' entry and exit do not exceed 30 minutes. They have closely collaborated with the joint inspection units at the border crossings and local relevant departments, promoting the extension of the customs clearance time at some land border crossings adjacent to Hong Kong and Macao on New Year's Day, and properly handling the passenger flow during peak periods and providing comprehensive support for traffic and other aspects to facilitate passengers' customs clearance as much as possible. Together, they aim to ensure the safety, efficiency and smoothness of border crossings.
