I. Cancellation of Existing Work Permit

(1) Application form for cancellation of work permit for foreigners coming to China;

(2) Proof of termination of employment relationship, termination of contract or other supporting documents related to the reason for cancellation.

II. Cancellation of Existing Residence Permit

Cancel the existing residence permit and apply for a T visa.

According to the Regulations of the People's Republic of China on the Administration of the Entry and Exit of Aliens, holders of T visas must enter or leave the country through the ports designated by the issuing organizations; if they really need to enter or leave the country through other means, they should apply for Z visas in advance.

III. Submitting a new work permit application

(3) Applicant's passport or international travel document;

(6) Proof of cancellation of the original work permit.

IV. Application for a new residence permit

(3) Passport;

(4) Alien work permit;

(5) Alien Residence Permit Application Report.

V. Precautions

(1) The application must be made at least 30 days before the expiration of the original residence permit;

(2) If you change to a new position (occupation), you have to apply for a new work permit for foreigners coming to China;

(3) In case of transferring to a new post (occupation) according to the category of foreign top-end talents (Class A), corresponding supporting documents must be submitted;

(4) All original paper documents and Chinese translations must be uploaded electronically to the processing system;

(5) Academic qualifications, certificates of no criminal conviction and medical examination do not need to be prepared and submitted again;

(6) If the new company has not recruited foreigners, it is required to apply for registration in the system of the Foreign Affairs Bureau and filing of foreign-related enterprises.
