How do foreign students work in China after graduation?

Graduation season is just around the corner, and many foreign students are already thinking about finding work opportunities in China, which comes with applying for work permits and work residence permits. According to the most basic work visa application conditions, the need for a bachelor's degree and more than two years of relevant work experience, that as a newly graduated member, is usually no work experience, what other way?

In order to further attract international talents, the country has issued relevant policies, which can exempt two years of work experience in the visa application. Let's take a look with ZhongChuangqiao Zhi Xiaobian.

1. According to the work classification standards for foreigners in China, other foreign personnel who meet the needs of the domestic labor market and meet the provisions of national policies shall be identified as Class C.

Article 3: Personnel implementing quota system management, foreign students and foreign graduates of overseas colleges and universities who meet the prescribed conditions.

It allows some outstanding graduates of foreign universities without work experience (master's degree or above) to work in China, including foreign students who have a master's degree or above in Chinese universities and graduated within one year, and foreign graduates who have a master's degree or above in well-known overseas universities and graduated within one year.

For employment in China, foreign college graduates should meet the following requirements:

(1) at least 18 years old and in good health;

(2) having no criminal record;

(3) Excellent academic performance, the average score is not less than 80 points (100 points system, other points system converted into 100 points system treatment) or above B+/B (grade system), no bad behavior record during the school;

(4) to obtain corresponding educational qualifications and degrees;

(5) There is a confirmed employer, engaged in the work position in line with the major. In principle, the salary shall not be lower than the average salary of the staff and workers in local urban units, and the specific standard shall be reasonably determined by the provincial human resources and social security department according to the actual employment market and the needs of the introduction of talents.

(6) Holding a valid passport or any other international travel document in lieu of a passport.

2. According to the work classification standard for foreigners in China, in line with the work guidance directory for foreigners in China and post needs, belong to the development of China's economic and social undertakings urgently needed foreign professionals, meet one of the conditions, confirmed as Class B.

Category B decision Article 1: Foreign professionals with bachelor's degree or above and more than 2 years of relevant work experience.

Class B Decision Article 3: Foreign language teaching staff. In principle, foreign language teachers should be engaged in the teaching of their native country, have a bachelor's degree or above and have more than 2 years of working experience in language education. Among them, those who have a bachelor's degree or above in education, language or teaching, or the international teacher qualification certificate or the International Language Teaching Certificate (TEFL in China 120 hours) that meets the requirements, may be exempted from the work experience requirement.
