According to the latest news from the National Immigration Administration on January 29, in view of the resumption of visa business in China by the Japanese embassies and consulates in China, the National Immigration Administration will resume issuing port visas to Japanese citizens from now on, and resume the implementation of the 72/144-hour transit visa-free policy. At the same time, the Chinese Embassy in Japan issued a notice that from now on, the Chinese Embassy and Consulate in Japan will resume the examination and issuance of ordinary visas for Japanese citizens to China.

Visa M: Go to China for business and trade activities

Visa F: go to China to engage in non-commercial activities such as exchange, visit and investigation

Visa Q1 (reunion)/Visa Q2 (family visit): Chinese citizens and foreign family members of foreigners with permanent residence qualification in China.

Family members: spouse, parents, spouse's parents, children, children's spouse, brothers and sisters, grandparents, grandparents, grandchildren, grandchildren

The copy of the inviter's Chinese ID card or Chinese permanent residence certificate, invitation letter, and proof of kinship (such as birth certificate, marriage certificate, household register, letter of kinship certificate from the police station, notarial certificate of kinship, etc.).
