As of January 6, 2022, there have been no new local cases or clusters of epidemics in the past 14 days in Weiyanghu Street, Weiyang District, Qujiang New District, Zhonghai Kaixuanmen Community in Qujiang New District, and MCC Yiqujiangshan Community in Qujiang New District. According to the work requirements of the State Council’s joint prevention and control mechanism on zoning and hierarchical prevention and control and the comprehensive evaluation of provincial and municipal experts, with the approval of the Xi’an New Crown Pneumonia Epidemic Prevention and Control Headquarters, starting from January 6, 2022, Weiyang Lake Street, Qu Zhonghai Kaixuanmen Community in Jiangxin District and MCC Yiqujiangshan Community in Qujiang New District were adjusted from medium-risk areas to low-risk areas, and the risk levels of other areas remained unchanged.

After adjustment, as of January 6, 2022, Xi'an has 3 high-risk areas and 60 medium-risk areas. Other areas of the city are low-risk areas.
