With the continuous improvement of domestic policies, most of the procedures for foreigners to work in China have been moved online and require much less travel to places.

But there is one more offline task that is essential, and that is the registering of foreign information for business that needs to be done once the foreigner has entered the country, a crucial step that also affects the processing of the foreigner's residence permit. Today, I will share this process.

The first thing we need to make clear is that the applicant for this registering is the business unit that employs or invites foreigners. The agent of the business unit responsible for employing, receiving or inviting foreigners will bring the relevant documents to the entry-exit administration department of the Municipal Public Security Bureau for registration and investigation and verification.

So what exactly do you need to prepare?

1. A true and accurate Application Form for the Registration and registering of Foreign Entities (requiring the signature of the legal person and the company's official seal).

2. The original identity card of the legal person in the unit and the person acting on his behalf and the receipt of a copy.

3. The original copy of the annual audited Organization Code Certificate of the unit, the business licence, or the Certificate of Approval for Foreign Invested Enterprises, or other registration certificates such as the License to Operate Schools and the Certificate of Eligibility to Employ Foreigners, and the receipt of copies.

4. An undertaking signed by the legal representative to fulfil the responsibilities of the legal representative of the foreign entity.

5. Foreign-related units belonging to national key projects or major scientific research projects should submit project certification documents issued by the competent government departments at the provincial or ministerial level; units belonging to high-tech enterprises should submit high-tech enterprise certificates; foreign-invested, foreign-invested advanced technology enterprises or foreign-invested product export enterprises belonging to the encouraged category should submit the confirmation of foreign-invested projects or foreign-invested advanced technology enterprises encouraged by the State for development. enterprise confirmation letter or foreign-invested product export enterprise confirmation letter.

6. Any other documents deemed necessary by the Municipal Bureau of Immigration.

The above are the basic materials. As there will be some differences in the policies of major cities, other materials prepared are different, so I will not list them here, but it is recommended to consult the local government to prepare the materials before registering, and the materials will be complete before registering. If the documents are complete, the general situation is that it will be completed on the spot and issue the "foreign units record book".

Warm reminder:

1. The public security authorities will include any entity that impersonates the signature of a legal person or the person in charge in the list of enterprises (entities) that are not in good standing, and will restrict or reject any future applications for visa documents for foreign nationals by that entity.

2.The record is valid for one year. If the record is valid, the foreigner can apply for and receive an entry and exit document on the basis of the Record Book of Foreign Units.

3. When picking up the certificate, present the Record Book of Foreign Units, which can be picked up on your behalf.
