Huxian Quzi is one of the main opera types in Shaanxi and Xi'an. Commonly known as "Quzi Opera" and "Mihu", scholars call it "Qingqu".

Huxian Quzi has a recorded history that can be traced back to the middle of the Ming Dynasty.

Huxian tunes are sung for Qing tunes without a stage or makeup. They are commonly known as "floor stalls". Sing in festivals, temple fairs, ceremonial occasions and other occasions.

Huxian Quzi Music has more than 100 tunes, divided into major and minor. The major tune is old, the structure of the melody is complex, the melody is full of changes, the range is wide, the tune is euphemistic, and the singing is difficult; the minor tunes are mostly folk songs, with a narrow range, regular structure, short and smooth melody.
