Both WeChat Pay and Alipay support "binding foreign cards"—overseas bank cards can be directly linked for seamless QR code payments. In the Yangling Demonstration Zone, 56 foreign nationals have already activated this feature.

III. Cash and Currency Exchange: Universal Backup

Both Xi'an Xianyang International Airport T5 Terminal and Xi'an North Railway Station have Payment Service Centers for Overseas Visitors, offering one-stop services including currency exchange, foreign card cash withdrawals, and mobile payment consultation. All 694 ATM machines of Bank of China in the province support foreign card cash withdrawals. Bank branches also offer "small-denomination cash pack" exchange services for cash transactions.

IV. Payment Convenience Upon Arrival

Shaanxi Frontier Inspection has moved payment facilitation information forward to the entry clearance stage, allowing foreign travelers to learn about payment methods in China upon arrival. The T5 Terminal financial service area is equipped with smart translation devices supporting real-time translation in 82 languages.
