Shaanxi has demonstrated equally strong opening-up momentum. According to the Shaanxi General Station of Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection, as of July 5, Xi'an Port had recorded over one million cross-border passenger trips this year. Among these, more than 290,000 trips were made by foreign nationals, up 17% year-on-year. Cargo flights surged by 89%, showing robust growth.

Wu Qian, Deputy Chief of the station, stated that the simultaneous growth in foreign passenger traffic and cargo flights at Xi'an Port directly reflects the effective implementation of visa-free and transit facilitation policies, and also demonstrates Shaanxi's deeper integration into the Belt and Road Initiative and the sustained recovery of its foreign trade sector. In the first half of the year, more than 120,000 inbound foreign travelers were processed visa-free, a year-on-year increase of 31%, accounting for 87% of all inbound foreign travelers. The online filing rate for entry cards reached 96%, effectively shortening port clearance time.

As the number of foreign nationals continues to grow, Shaanxi's international services are upgrading simultaneously. Four comprehensive immigration service centers have been established and are now operational in Xixian New Area, Xi'an High-Tech Zone, Qujiang New District, and Chanba International Port, integrating resources from public security, human resources, and science and technology departments to provide one-stop services including social insurance, business registration, and driver's license applications. The Shaanxi Inbound Passenger Integrated Service Platform was officially launched on June 9 at Terminal 5 of Xi'an Xianyang International Airport, offering full-service support including policy consultation, currency exchange, and multilingual services. The station has also introduced convenient measures such as "registration at one port, valid nationwide" for fast-track clearance and promotion of payment facilitation services.

The Shaanxi Foreigner Service Platform will continue to provide localized services including visa assistance, employment support, and legal advisory services, making your life in Shaanxi smoother and more secure.
