I. Required Documents for Handling Entry Procedures:
1. Submit a valid passport.
2. Submit various relevant certificates related to the application, such as proof of birth, marital status, education, work experience, etc.
3. Fill out and submit the visa application form. The form varies depending on the type of visa and is usually filled out in a foreign language. Additionally, provide a personal photo.
4. Meet with officials at the embassy or consulate of the country concerned. Some countries require that all immigration applicants must have an interview before a decision can be made. Others stipulate that even non-immigrant visa applicants must undergo an interview.
5. The embassy or consulate will submit the completed visa application forms and necessary supporting documents to the relevant domestic competent authorities for review and approval. Some embassies and consulates of certain countries have the authority to issue visas directly, but they still need to report it for domestic record.

II. Applying for Marriage Registration and Residence Permit:
Chinese citizens and foreigners (including those who are permanently residing in China and temporarily coming to China, overseas Chinese, and foreign nationals settled in China) can apply for marriage within the territory of China. The male and female parties involved must jointly apply for registration at the designated marriage registration authority in the province, autonomous region, or municipality directly under the central government where the Chinese citizen party's household registration is located.

III. Chinese citizens and foreigners applying for marriage registration must respectively hold the following materials:
For Chinese citizens:
1. Their own household registration certificate (including ID card).
2. A certificate issued by a county-level or higher-level authority where their household registration is located or where their employer is located, school, institution, or enterprise. This certificate should state the person's name, gender, date of birth, ethnicity, marital status (single, divorced, widowed), occupation, nature of work, and certification of whom they are applying to marry.
For foreigners:
1. Their passport or other identity and nationality documents.
2. The "Foreigner's Residence Permit" issued by the public security authorities, or identity documents issued by the foreign affairs department, or entry and residence documents for temporary entry to and residence in China.
3. Marriage status certificate issued by their own country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (or the authorized agency of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs).
For foreign nationals of Chinese origin:
1. Their passport or identity and nationality documents replacing the passport (exempt if stateless).
2. The "Foreigner's Residence Permit" issued by the public security authorities.
3. A certificate issued by a county-level or higher-level authority where their household registration is located or where their employer is located, school, institution, or enterprise. This certificate should state the person's name, gender, date of birth, marital status, occupation, and whom they are applying to marry.
