Major updates: I. Use China Visa online application reservation system. Visa applicants will no longer make reservations and pre-review materials by email. Applicants who have made an appointment to submit materials by email can still come to the library to apply for the ID card at the time and method of appointment by email. II. Visa applicants must come to the library in person to take face and fingerprint information. Starting from February 1, 2023, the Chinese Consulate General in Sao Paulo will implement the following visa application requirements for foreigners visiting China (Mainland China) : 1. People who do not need to apply for visas are allowed to enter China under various types of mutual visa exemption agreements, holders of valid Chinese permanent residence certificates, holders of valid residence permits, holders of valid APEC Business travel cards (excluding virtual cards), and 24-hour transit visa-free persons. The above personnel do not need to apply for a separate visa to visit China. Note: Please consult the border control authorities of the intended destination for the application of the 72 and 144 hour visa-free transit policy. 2. Multi-year multiple-entry visas approved and issued before the Announcement on Temporary Suspension of Entry by Foreigners Holding Valid Chinese Visas and Residence Permits on March 26, 2020; 2. Visa-free entry for Japan, Singapore and Brunei; 3. Visa-free entry to Hainan; 4. Shanghai Cruise visa-free; 5. 144-hour visa-free policy for group entry of foreigners from Hong Kong and Macao into Guangdong; 6. Visa-free entry for ASEAN tour groups to Guangxi 3. Visa Application Process (Only applicable to the area of the Consulate General in Sao Paulo. (1) .Application by District: Please submit the application to the relevant pavilion by district. (2).Please log on to https://cova.mfa.gov.cn to fill in the visa application form online, print out the confirmation page and the Visa application form (8 pages in total), and sign the confirmation page and the applicant's signature in item 9 of the form and write the date of the application. (3). Online reservation: After filling in the online form, click the "Go to Reservation" button or log in the China Visa Online Application Reservation System (https://avas.mfa.gov.cn/) to make an appointment for the date and time of application. (4). Submission of application materials: After the appointment is completed, please come to our library to submit the application materials in person at the designated time. IV. precautions (1) Except for the temporary suspension of visas for travel to the Mainland and medical treatment, other visas will be accepted in accordance with the pre-epidemic policies. The application for journalist visa shall be subject to the requirements of the competent department. (2) Except for the staff members, other visa applicants must come to the embassy to take fingerprints and have their faces collected: 1. People under the age of 14 or over 70; 2. Those who hold diplomatic passports or meet the requirements of diplomatic, official and courtesy visa approval; 3. Persons who have applied for visas at Chinese embassies and consulates in Brazil with the same passport and retained fingerprints within five years; 4. All fingers of all ten fingers are incomplete or fingerprints of all ten fingers cannot be retained. V.
