1. Conditions of service:

1. Foreigners who enter visa exemption need to stay beyond the visa exemption period due to non-diplomatic or official reasons;

3. Those who need to stay in China after renunciation of Chinese nationality upon approval;

4. Suspension of the foreigner's residency reasons and the need to continue to stay due to humanitarian reasons;

5. Foreign babies born in China need to stay in China;

6. There are other situations that need to apply for a foreigner's stay permit.

2. Procedures for handling affairs:

1. Submit the original valid passport and visa for inspection;

2. Submit the completed "Foreigner Visa Credentials Application Form". Applicants need to go to the entry and exit administration department of this city to take free photos. Applicants who meet the agency requirements need to submit a color photo (a recent photo within six months). , White background, two inches, no headband, no modification, photo printing, no stains);

3. Submit supporting materials that are consistent with the reasons for the application:

(1) Foreigners who enter the country without a visa should refer to the relevant visa application notice and provide corresponding application materials according to the reason for entry;

(2) Foreign crew members should submit a seafarer’s certificate (or other international travel documents), a letter from the shipping agency company, and a flight (ship, car) ticket with a confirmed date and seat; the accompanying family members must also provide proof of relatives;

(3) Those who renounce Chinese nationality upon approval shall submit the "Certificate of Retirement of the People's Republic of China", foreign passport (or other international travel documents) and supporting materials related to the reason for stay;

(4) If the foreigner’s reason for residence is suspended, he shall submit proof that the reason for residence has been terminated;

(5) For foreign babies born in China, the original and photocopy of the baby's birth certificate (including the secondary page), and the valid passports (or other travel documents) of both parents must be submitted;

(6) Submit relevant materials proving other reasons for staying.

The entry-exit management agency of the public security organs needs to interview the applicant when deemed necessary, or request other supplementary materials (certificate of source of income, certificate of name and other information change, certificate of business operation, etc.), except for reasons of force majeure. Acceptance of interviews or submission of materials within the agreed time shall be revoked.

2. The decision made by the Exit-Entry Administration Department of the public security agency not to extend, renew or reissue ordinary visas, not to apply for foreigners' residence permits, and not to extend the period of stay is the final decision.
