The types of visas are as follows


1. C visa, international train attendants, international aircraft crews, crews of international voyage ships and their accompanying family members who perform crew, aviation, and shipping tasks, and car drivers engaged in international road transport.


2. D visa, persons who go to China to engage in exchanges, visits, inspections and other activities.


3. F visa, persons who go to China to engage in exchanges, visits, inspections and other activities.


4. G visa, for persons transiting through China.


5. J1 visa, resident foreign journalist of a foreign news agency stationed in China; J2 visa, foreign journalist who travels to China for short-term (less than 180 days) coverage.


6. L visa for tourists to China. Those who enter the country for tourism in the form of a group may issue a group L visa.


7. M visa, personnel going to China for commercial and trade activities.


8. Q1 visa, family members of Chinese citizens who apply for residence in China due to family reunification, and those who apply for entry and residence due to foster care and other reasons. Q2 visa is a short-term visit to China (no more than 180 days) for relatives of Chinese citizens residing in China and relatives of foreigners with permanent residence in China.


9. R visa, foreign high-level talents and urgently-needed specialized talents that China needs.


10. S1 visa for the spouse, parents, children under the age of 18, parents of spouses of foreigners residing in China for work, study and other reasons who are going to China for long-term visits (more than 180 days), as well as other personal needs Persons residing in China; S2 visa, visiting relatives in China for short-term visits (no more than 180 days). 11. X1 visa, for long-term (more than 180 days) study in China; X2 visa, for short-term (not more than 180 days) study in China.
