It mentioned that Beijing, Shanghai, Hangzhou, Guangzhou, Xi'an, Chengdu, Ningbo, Suzhou, Shenzhen, and Qingdao are among the most attractive "Top Ten Cities" list; Nanjing, Wuxi, Wuhan, Tianjin, Kunming, Dongguan, Changsha, Quanzhou, Hefei, and Yantai follow closely Afterwards, it was selected as the "Most Potential City".
Hosted by the Foreign Talent Research Center of the Ministry of Science and Technology and implemented by the International Talent Exchange magazine, the theme event "Charming China-The Most Attractive Chinese City in the Eyes of Foreign Talents" has been held for 11 sessions since 2010. The event is closely linked to the theme of "City Opening and Talent Introduction". According to the overall situation of each city in attracting foreign talents, serving foreign talents, and giving play to the role of foreign talents, according to foreign talents "work convenience" and "life convenience" " "Social Environment", "City Mutual Evaluation", "Urban Outward Degree (Objective Statistics)" five dimensions and 54 indicators were launched.
In the selection of activities conducted from May to August 2020, the judges and foreign experts including 14 Nobel Prize winners, 1 Turing Prize winner, 16 academicians, 47 Chinese Government Friendship Award winners and For foreign talents in China, 45 candidate cities will be signed to vote through the online voting platform. The selection received 149 votes signed by senior foreign experts and 3727 valid votes for ordinary foreign talents. Based on the weighted scores of the two types of voting results, the score rankings of 45 cities are obtained, and the rankings of "Top Ten Cities" and "Cities with Most Potential" are obtained according to the ranking of scores.
The data analysis and topic report of this theme activity were completed by the sponsor and Great Wall Strategic Consulting. According to reports, the results of this selection show a new trend in the development of China's cities, and a number of inland cities in the central and western regions have achieved good performance in the individual rankings.
