The topic of visa application for foreigners in China has always attracted much attention. For this reason, my country has repeatedly adjusted and introduced relevant visa measures. However, most foreigners can only enter the country with M visas for business visits or Z visas for resumption of work and production. China. Today, I would like to share with you some things and issues that foreigners need to pay attention to when coming to China for visas. I hope I can help you.

1. What should I pay attention to before coming to China?

(1) Before coming to China, the applicant should check whether the visa is valid and have enough times of entry. Those who have expired their visas or have insufficient number of entries should apply for a new visa.

(4) Foreign citizens shall not stay in China over the time limit. Foreign citizens in China should pay attention to the validity period of their passports and visa stay period. If they need to extend their stay, they must go to the local public security agency to apply for an extension before the expiration of 7 days.

(5) Without approval, foreigners are not allowed to enter areas restricted to foreigners.

2. What does the validity period of visa entry mean?

The validity period of a visa entry refers to the valid time range for the holder to enter the country with a valid visa. Under normal circumstances, the visa will take effect on the day of issuance, and the visa will expire at 24:00 Beijing time on the expiry date of the visa. If you have multiple entries, you must also enter the country with a permit within the validity period of your visa.

Under normal circumstances, embassies and consulates abroad can apply for a visa within four to five working days. However, for some special circumstances, embassies and consulates abroad also have the right to extend the visa approval time. For applicants, it is more appropriate to submit the visa application about one month before the planned entry date. Visa approval time will be longer under the epidemic.

5. Can I apply for a work visa for foreigners urgently?

Before the epidemic, if you have an urgent need, you need to inform the embassy or consulate abroad when you submit your visa application. Under normal circumstances, as long as you can ensure that the reason is reasonable, your urgent needs will usually be met. However, after the epidemic, the consulates of various countries have basically stopped providing urgent services.

6. Can the visa be extended?

After the visa expires, the applicant should reapply, and the Chinese embassies and consulates abroad will not handle visa extension procedures. When applying for a visa, the party concerned should indicate the length of stay in China on the visa application form. After entering the country, if you cannot leave the country as planned for some reason, you should go to the local public security immigration management department to go through the visa extension procedures before the expiration of the stay. There are two situations for this type of visa exemption: First, foreign friends who have a valid residence permit who can reside in China and enter and exit multiple times during the validity period of the residence permit do not need to apply for a visa.
